Teaching Your Congregation the "Mandate of Jesus Christ"

OUR VISION
Our Vision is to reach people, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that they will desire a closer relationship with God. This is directed to us in several places throughout the Bible. The specific scripture that captures Gods vision for us is: Matthew 28:19-20. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

SERVICE TO THE CHURCH
We are committed to serving the Church through: Helping each individual Church accomplish its mandate to promote evangelism. This is done by using the resources given by God. We train laborers in "Street Ministry" using a system developed by Evangelist Ricky Hobbs called "The Street University". Thousands of individuals and churches have used these teachings to lead people to Christ. Our ministry works with the local church to train and equip laborers in the harvest and to motivate congregations to participate in all areas of evangelism.

Ephesians 4:11-13 "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ." Biblical Preaching and Teaching - By the guidance of the Holy Spirit we will provide the Church with solid biblical preaching and teaching. Evangelism - We are dedicated to leading by the example of being a witness for Christ. We will prior to any revivals/evangelistic meetings, orchestrate with the Church a time to reach those who so desperately need the message of Christ.

SERVICE TO THOSE NOT IN THE CHURCH
We are committed to serving those not in the Church. We will serve the non-church by helping each individual recognize the need for Christ in their life. 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."

John 10:15-16 "As the Father knoweth me, even so I know the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

Evangelists Len and Roxana Kelley

My wife Roxana and I have been together for over twenty years. We attend Christ Way Church of Inverness, Florida and we maintain our residence in Florida.

Roxana gave her life to Jesus more than thirty years ago at Christian Assembly in St. Petersburg, Florida. I made Jesus, Lord of my life more than twenty years ago at The First Assembly of God in Inverness, Florida.

Attending Praise Assembly of God Church, in Palm Coast, Florida. During one monumental Sunday service, an Evangelist came to the church, blew a " shophar", and challenged all who heard to stand up and join the "Army of God". From that day my life was changed and I responded to the call. I participated in a strict discipleship program, and then for over seven years studied and prayed seeking the Lord. Asking Him daily "What would you have me do?"

God continues to refine us for his purposes. We have simply said "Yes" to all God has asked of us. "Obedience" is better than sacrifice, but much sacrifice is also required.

During a forty day time of prayer and fasting alone in a cabin in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina the Lord spoke the "Sword and Scepter Ministries" into my spirit. I was commanded to "Go forth and glean the fields seeking His lost sheep. Speak His truth from His Holy Word! His Sheep who know His voice will respond, repent, and come to His salvation."

We are all ordained by the call of Christ Jesus to minister the Gospel to a hurting and dying people. Both, the Sword of Truth which is the Word of God as our source, and the symbol of the Scepter which represents the power and the authority of the "King of Kings", were shown to me during my sabbatical. While we continue to work in the secular world, We have dedicated our lives to full time evangelism. We are available for training sessions, and speaking engagements where ever the Holy Spirit leads us!

WHAT WE BELIEVE!
The Bible
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired and only authoritative Word of God; supreme and final in its authority in matters of faith and practice.
God
We believe in the triune God of the Bible, the God who created the world, who made man in His own image, who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son for man's redemption who sent us His Spirit to comfort, teach, and intercede for us.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that He is coeternal and coequal with God the Father. We believe the biblical account of His virgin birth, sinless life, words, works, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and promise of His personal return.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Bible, is a person coequal and coeternal with God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit strengthens faith, brings comfort and peace in time of sorrow and distress, enlightens our hearts and minds to understand and apply the truth in Christ and the Bible, and empowers us with all the gifts mentioned in the "Book of Acts" to serve God more effectively.
Repentance
We believe that men become children of God by true repentance, turning from sin, and turning to Christ as Savior. True repentance results in a changed life.
Faith
We believe that men who have received God's forgiveness for sin through Christ's atoning death and triumphant resurrection possess saving faith. The faith is awakened and strengthened by the hearing of the Word of God.
The Christian Life
We believe the Christian life is lived by trust in Christ and fellowship with Him, for He is "the way, the truth, and the life." It is summed up in the two great commandments: to love God with all our hearts, souls, strength, and minds; and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Jesus' Mandate!
We believe that all born again Christians are under the mandate of Jesus to go forth into all the world and preach the Gospel!
